I would like to tell you all a little bit about my first novel. Everlasting is the first book in a three book series, but I also would like to do a sister series.
Syopsis
Tessara Knox has had a hard life: both of her parents are gone, the only immediate family she has left is a sister she would die for, and since she was little she has been able to read minds. The advantages this gives her always leaves her wondering if the constant pain radiating through her head is worth it. Sometimes the pain is so excruciating that she would do anything to stop it, even end her own life. With all of this riding on her young shoulders, moving to a new town is the last thing she had in mind. But it's in Salem, Utah, that Tessa meets some new people who curiously seem to have powers of their own. Even that seems insignificant when a boy from school goes missing, and all fingers point to Tessa. Feeling a strong connection to a boy she only met once, Tessa makes it her job to find him—or at the very least, what happened to him.
Other Characters
I should leave it there and let you figure out the rest for yourself, but I think a little sneak peek is only fair. Every good story has a love interested, and in this one there just happens to be two. Alec BelCourt is the moody, sarcastic, weirdo everyone likes to avoid. But more importantly, he likes to avoid everyone, at least until his cousin Zarra introduces him to the new fiery redhead. Tessa quickly learns that Alec has all sorts of secrets of his own, but she can't help the uncanny attraction she feels for him. And then, there's Logan Hardy who also has a girlfriend. He's the most popular guy at school, and of course, he's dating the most popular girl. Everleigh Nite, Logan's girlfriend, does her very best to make friends everywhere she goes, but only because she has a tendency to turn invisible when she get mad. And with this new girl draping herself all over her boyfriend that is just not going to be easy this time.
The second our skin touched, a weird sensation stopped me cold. A memory formed in my head, but it wasn't my own. At least, I didn't think it was. Everything was blinking black and white like the memory was being transmitted from someplace very far away, and the color hadn’t come all the way through.
So much more meets the eye in this once in a lifetime book. There has never been anything like it, and it will keep you guessing the whole way through.
